How is AptDeco handling COVID-19?

At AptDeco, we have always been committed to making buying and selling furniture as easy and safe as possible. As conditions around COVID-19 continue to evolve, we remain committed to this mission and are providing uninterrupted service, with slightly different procedures during pickup and delivery.

For those who buy and sell furniture online on AptDeco, we remain fully open online and you can continue to list or purchase as usual. Our pickup and delivery services are operating as usual as well, which means you can have your item picked up or delivered within the same week in most cases.

For pickups and deliveries, we've added precautionary measures to ensure the safety of our delivery team and community of buyers and sellers. Below you'll find more information on what to expect during your pickup and delivery service:

Contact-free Pickup and Delivery

AptDeco is going contact-free for pickup and delivery, unless you request otherwise.

For all items, our delivery team will pick up and deliver to your door rather than entering your home. When your pickup or delivery is on its way, you will receive a text message that will allow you to communicate with your delivery team member about where to leave your item.

For large items or items that require assembly, if you'd prefer in-home delivery please email us at: hello@aptdeco.com. For in-home deliveries, our delivery team will maintain 6 feet of distance.

Hard Surface Sanitization

Under guidance from the CDC, we are asking that our community of sellers clean and sanitize the hard surfaces of their items prior to pickup. Cleaning prior to pickup as a precautionary measure will ensure the safety and wellbeing of our delivery team and the individual receiving the item. We deeply appreciate your help in keeping our delivery team safe.

Cancellations and Rescheduling

If you are unable to complete your order due to travel, quarantine, or if you are experiencing symptoms — please feel free to reschedule through your dashboard or reach out to us at hello@aptdeco.com. We are happy to facilitate rescheduling until a later date.

Delivery Team Safety Precautions

Our delivery team members have been provided with sanitization, cleaning, and personal protection supplies. Additionally, each AptDeco van is being sanitized on a daily basis in order to protect our delivery teams and community.
